Sorry, neighbor: Injured T.J. Lang wants solitude (and beer) for Packers' games

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- T.J. Lang tried to do the neighborly thing, so on a Sunday afternoon last month, he walked down the block with his wife to do what people around here do on Sunday afternoons when the Green Bay Packers play on the road: They get together at someone’s house to watch the game on TV.

Lang lasted about a quarter.

Frustrated he couldn’t travel with the team because of the broken left foot he suffered a week earlier, Lang hobbled home, leaving Laura behind. The offensive lineman realized that the last thing he wanted to do was watch the Packers’ Nov.
