Post-Draft Super Bowl Odds: Packers Fall to Third

Sports books update their Super Bowl odds after the draft every year. The favorites the oddsmakers select are based on NFL trends against the spread, free agents signed, players the teams drafted, and their strength of schedule. While the Green Bay Packers usually trend up after the draft, they actually fell back this year.

That’s not to say their odds have changed. They haven’t.

The Packers are still at 10-1, which is where they were before the draft. That’s a position they shared with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers, Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos.
