When you read the Green Bay Packers’ injury report from Wednesday’s practice, try your best not to freak out. That’s because the team has six of its ten linebackers (inside and outside combined) listed as either non-participants or limited participants on Wednesday’s report.
To be fair, one player is not an injury concern - that’s veteran pass-rusher Julius Peppers, who played 58 of a possible 66 snaps on Sunday and was given a day off to rest. However, there are still five players who are fighting through injuries of some sort. Peppers will likely need to play a big role once again this week, as Nick Perry has already been ruled out for Sunday’s game and Clay Matthews continues to struggle with the shoulder injury he suffered two Mondays ago in Philadelphia.
