The Green Bay Packers have signed WR Geronimo Allison and S Jermaine Whitehead to the active roster from the practice squad, signed WR Dez Stewart to the practice squad, and placed WR Jared Abbrederis and S Chris Banjo on injured reserve. The transactions were announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Allison, a 6-foot-3, 202-pound rookie out of the University of Illinois, was originally signed by the Packers as an undrafted free agent on May 6. He has spent the entire regular season on Green Bay’s practice squad.
