Packers draft DT Montravius Adams in third round

The 6-foot-4, 304-pound defensive tackle was a three-year starter for the Tigers, recording 151 tackles with 11 sacks and three forced fumbles in 52 games.

Adams, a former five-star recruit out of Vienna, Ga., was a second-team All-SEC selection during his senior year after tallying 44 tackles (8 ½ for a loss) and a career-best 4½ sacks. He ran a 4.87-second time in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine.

The addition of Adams comes after the Packers added to their secondary in the second round with the selection of Washington cornerback Kevin King and North Carolina State safety Josh James.
