Mike McCarthy, the Green Bay Packers head coach, once again in really good “training camp-opening” spirits, addressed the media this morning to give injury updates and provide some insight into the first official day of camp that kicked off this morning.
Rookie linebacker Vince Biegel and veteran defensive back Demitri Goodson were both listed on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list prior to this morning’s practice.
Biegel, the Wisconsin Badger drafted by the Packers this past spring, is expected to be out of practice for about a couple of weeks; Goodson’s timeline wasn’t clear to McCarthy.
