PALO ALTO — On a scorching Saturday afternoon, with a DJ blaring music and kids handing out free Gatorade along with wet towels, the focus was clearly on one man: Davante Adams.
The 24-year-old NFL wide receiver with the Green Bay Packers was the main attraction during his second annual youth football camp, which again was held at his alma mater, Palo Alto High.
“It’s a real tight-knit family out here,” Adams said. “I’m glad everybody was able to bring their kids out and I know the kids had fun, so it’s good.”
