Camp Insider: Thursday practice report

Prior to Thursday morning, NT DemetrisAnderson's last time in pads had been Dec. 26, 2014, when his Central Florida Knights lost to North Carolina State, 34-27, in the Bitcoin St. Petersburg Bowl. Last July, he blew out his ACL about a week before the start of practice. A two-year starter, every NFL team except the Packers forgot about him. His only post-draft tryout offer came from Green Bay, and on May 9 he signed a minimum contract. Anderson (6-1½, 318) impressed teammates Thursday with his squatty strength in the full contact half-line drill. Shortly thereafter, the pass rushers posted a mere 9-22-5 record in the one-on-one drill.
