This is what you call a storybook ending, people. After years of silence and acrimony, perceived or otherwise, Brett Favre and Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson — the guy who sent him packing — are all good.
That’s one of the nuggets Big Ted discussed in his press conference on Friday, which may be the last time we see the guy until the 2017 draft.
“I think it’s important for the organization and the player to be in a good place,” Thompson said. “For me, it’s a selfish thing. Like I’ve said before, we never had a crossed word, and still haven’t.
