It didn’t take long, but we already have what surely can be debated as a questionable call.

When smart analysts discuss a proper time to grade a draft, the most common answer is actually not right after it finishes. It isn’t even at the end of their first year. The prevailing answer tends to usually be at the three-year mark.

It makes plenty of sense as to why.

A single season can be proved to be a fluke. The second year usually sees some players end up taking steps forward, but then again plenty can take a step back (hence the term “sophomore slump”).
