Packers News: Aaron Rodgers Provides Update Of Peyton Manning's Infamous "Omaha" Call"

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning's "Omaha" line call is so yesterday. Aaron Rodgers did him one better in the Green Bay Packers' NFC Divisional Playoff win over the Dallas Cowboys, screaming "New York Bozo" on the team's first drive.

Per Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, "that was Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' call before a play on their first drive of the game. Running the no-huddle offense, Rodgers often makes play calls at the line of scrimmage like Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, who often uses "Omaha."'

Yahoo! Sports' Eric Edholm has a pretty hilarious conspiracy theory to share about its potential origins:

Hmm, let's see ... who is the most talked-about guest of a certain Cowboys owner? Yes, we imagine this was the Packers' response to New Jersey governor Chris Christie and his infamous red sweater being pals with Jerry Jones and a guest at the divisional playoff game at Lambeau Field, as well as several other big games this season dating back to Thanksgiving.

New York and New Jersey aren't exactly the same thing, but if the New York Jets and New York Giants can play in NJ, perhaps it works?
