The question was recently raised with the sudden announcement of the impending retirement of Wisconsin Badgers head basketball coach Bo Ryan, about who would replace Green Bay Packers head Coach, Mike McCarthy, if he were to step down after the season?
I thought that was an interesting issue to ponder, during the doldrums between OTAs and the opening of training camp.
Would the Packers go the big name route and look for an established coach?
I would think the attractiveness of the talent on the roster and the cachet of the Packers would draw a number of those types of coaches to interview.
