Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy took a punishing hit from Brandon Meriweather early in today's Packers-Redskins game, and team neurologists confirmed that Lacy has a concussion and will miss the remainder of the game.
Meriweather's helmet connected with Lacy's at chin level, and Lacy attempted to get up before falling back down. No penalty was called on the play.
Lacy was replaced by James Starks.
