Cory's Corner: The Packers must stop Packerpalooza

The answer is of course the Cowboys and the Yankees. And the reason is because of in-your-face lavish spending that makes the rest of the NFL and MLB look like a third-world country.

The way the Packers have gobbled up parcels of land to the west, south and east of Lambeau Field is pretty startling. I realize why the team is doing this. They can argue that this is the only way the smallest market in all of pro sports can stay sustainable in a new financial world.

But is this what Curly Lambeau and George Calhoun had in mind when they founded the team in 1919?
