4 Things That Will Decide The Rest Of The Packers' Season

The Green Bay Packers are undefeated at 6-0 heading into a date with another undefeated team, the Denver Broncos, on Sunday. In advance of that marquee matchup, we thought now would be a fantastic time to survey the team landscape and give you 4 Things That Will Decide The Rest Of The Packers' Season.

1. Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers is having the kind of season that is usually reserved that can only be summed up in one word -- legendary. He's completed 68.1% of his passes for 1,491 yards, 15 touchdowns and two interceptions. If he continues on this historically potent track, Green Bay is destined for home-field advantage and, perhaps, a Super Bowl berth.

2. Keep The Defense Running

Green Bay is first in points against this year, giving up a stingy 16.8 points per contest. They've blanket top offenses all year long, gutting run defense with stout front seven work and holding true both in one-on-one and zone coverage on the back end. At this rate, this Packers team is going to be an unstoppable juggernaut.

3. Take Stock Of The Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings are the only North team with a relative chance to catch the Packers. Green Bay still has its two games to play against the Vikes, so it's imperative that the Packers push their closest competition off the pace with a resounding victory or two.

4. Stay Humble

This really hasn't been a problem for Mike McCarthy-led Packers teams, but Green Bay can't afford to buy into their own hype. Staying hungry and keeping the eye on the prize is the only way for this team to avenge its NFC Championship disappointment last postseason and get a hold on the trophy.
