Kevin Pangos finished with seven points in 26 minutes for the Washington Wizards last night, one of the few Gonzaga alums to take the court during the NBA Summer League on Monday.
It was an up and down affair for Pangos, who the Wizards are clearly leaning on as a potential point guard. Pangos had some good, finishing with five rebounds and three steals. But he also ended the game with seven turnovers, which is much too high of a number for your primary ball handler.
Jordan Mathews was able to see some late game action for the New Orleans Pelicans, missing his only two long range shots, which is unfortunate for Mathews.
