NBA Summer League Scores: Former Gonzaga stars are leaving Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Summer League moved into its tournament-style format yesterday, and unfortunately for a few former Gonzaga stars, it was the end of the line whether by defeat or injury.

As previously mentioned in this space, Portland’s Zach Collins exited a game Tuesday night with a right quad injury that was reported as a bruise, and it appears the team will be holding him out for the remainder of Summer League as a precautionary measure. The Blazers did beat the hapless Chicago Bulls 88-77 to move on to the next round.

Kevin Pangos got the starting nod again for the Washington Wizards after a DNP in the prior game, and finished with 7 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, and 2 turnovers in 24 minutes.
