The Gonzaga Bulldogs have gone to the Elite Eight twice, once in 1999 as a No. 10 seed, when current head coach Mark Few was an assistant to Dan Monson, and again in 2015 as a No. 2 seed, when they lost to eventual national champion Duke. In 2013, the Zags finished the season 32-3, running the table in the WCC and earning a No. 1 seed before falling to Wichita State in the round of 32.
But this might be the best opportunity for Gonzaga to hang a Final Four banner in the rafters at the McCarthey Athletic Center.
