After starting redshirt junior Sara Swanson for the first six games of the season, the Zags have switched over to sophomore Allison Seifert.
Last year’s starter, Christie Tombari, left the team prior to the season.
In the 2014 season, Swanson saw action in four matches, and in 2015, she appeared in two.
This is Seifert’s first season in action, after not seeing any playing time last year.
“It feels really great to get in the game,” Seifert said. “I’ve worked really so hard over the past season, so its just really great that the coaches gave me this opportunity.
