It was not just the offense that performed well in Monday’s win. Redshirt sophomore Daniel Bies turned in his longest and most impressive outing of the year going six innings, giving up only four hits and one run while striking out five en route to his second win of the season.
“[I] was throwing the fastball where I wanted to which kind of set up my other pitches,” Bies said.
