Senior leadership and offensive prowess look to be the marks of the Zags’ infield this season.
The team returns starting second baseman Justin Jacobs and reigning West Coast Conference Player of the Year Jeff Bohling, who will man third once more in his redshirt senior season.
The seniors combine to form a threat on offense.
Jacobs led the team with a .333 batting average last season, including a .442 on-base percentage and a .341 average in WCC play.
Bohling will look to build on an outstanding season, during which he doubled career highs in every offensive category and finished with a slash mark of .
