2018 Recruiting: Gonzaga offers Buddy Boeheim

The Gonzaga Bulldogs officially offered a spot to Buddy Boeheim, a son of the longtime Syracuse Orange coach Jim Boeheim.

The winger guard is a legitimate prospect, although not the most highly rated one. He played at the EYBL Peach Jam, hitting 55 percent of his shots from the floor and over 57 percent of his shots from long range. His squad, the Albany City Rocks, finished 4-1 in the pool play and advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament before their run ended.

The young Boeheim attends Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, which has churned out its fair share of middle-ground NBA players and Topher Grace.
