Former NCAA and U.S. Amateur champion Bryson DeChambeau has already in his short career developed a reputation for unorthodoxy.
Last year's low amateur at the Masters is well-known for his single-length irons, and in October Golf Channel insider Tim Rosaforte reported that DeChambeau was considering a switch to a side-saddle putting stroke, a style made famous by Sam Snead in the 1960s.
Unlike Snead, however, DeChambeau is choosing to grip the club with his right hand, while his left hand grips his right forearm.
