A day after making headlines for garnering a special exemption into the Ricoh Women’s British Open, Brooke Henderson has found them again after a minor car accident. Henderson tweeted news of the accident on Thursday, along with news that she was not injured.
As Henderson tweeted, she was on the way to do laundry when the accident occurred. She did not specify damages or location. Henderson did say that soreness caused her to withdraw from this week’s Symetra Tour event, the Tullymore Classic in Canadian Lakes, Mich.
She still plans to play the U.S. Open next week.
