Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr Says Stephen Curry Is Questionable For Game 2 Against Rockets

Stephen Curry left the Golden State Warriors' playoff game against the Houston Rockets with a right ankle injury. Head coach Steve Kerr said Curry was questionable for Game 2 of their playoff series against the Rockets. However, Kerr said he didn't know how bad the injury was and Curry's status would be determined by how Curry responds in practice before the game.

However, Curry feels confident he'll play Monday in Game 2. He said that he didn't see a scenario in which he doesn't suit up against the Rockets.

Curry appeared to roll his ankle late in the second quarter and went into the locker room before the half. He started the game in the third quarter, before leaving and heading back to the locker room again.

Kerr said Curry wanted to stay in the game, but Kerr elected to play it safe and keep Curry out of the game. Curry returned to the bench for the fourth quarter, but did not return the game with the Warriors up big.

The Warriors were up big over the Rockets, and didn't really need Curry in the second half. When Curry was on the court, he was dominant. He had 24 points in the first half.
