Next up: Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Warriors learned the identity of their second-round playoff opponent Friday night, and it’s a familiar one. Lillard and the Blazers advanced to the Western Conference semifinals, beating the Los Angeles Clippers 106-103 to win their first-round series in six games.
That means Golden State and Portland will tangle starting at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Oracle Arena. Game 2 is set for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, also at Oracle.
The Warriors won three of their four regular-season games against the Blazers. All of them were high-scoring duels, with the winning team scoring at least 128 points.
