Warriors’ Kevin Durant to miss Nets game with hand contusion

Warriors forward Kevin Durant will miss Saturday night’s game against the Nets with a left hand contusion, Golden State has announced.

Durant suffered the injury when he got fouled by Luc Mbah a Moute early in the first quarter of Thursday’s win over the Clippers. After getting checked by trainers in the locker room, Durant returned to the game. He participated in most of Friday’s practice with a wrap on his left hand, but was not on the court during the media portion of Saturday’s shoot-around.

This will be Durant’s first missed game since joining the Warriors in July.
