Warriors’ Barnes out against Kings, return uncertain

Here’s a real threat to the Warriors’ historic streak to start their season: Forward Harrison Barnes will not play Saturday night against Sacramento, and he might be out a while.

Barnes sprained his left ankle during Friday night’s 135-116 victory at Phoenix. Interim head coach Luke Walton said Barnes definitely will not play against the Kings, as the Warriors await results of his medical evaluation earlier Saturday.

“It could be a few weeks and it could be a week,” Walton said. “We’ll wait to hear back from the doctor. We’re not going to rush him back, because we want to be healthy for later in the season.
