The Warriors will honor the 2006-07 “We Believe” team during Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals Tuesday night at Oracle Arena, the team has announced.
The celebration will come the day before the 10th anniversary of Golden State’s Game 6 victory over Dallas on May 3, 2007, when the Warriors became the first No. 8 seed to beat a No. 1 seed in a seven-game set. Golden State has invited every member from that 2007 team back for Game 1 on Tuesday and, at this point, at least 10 — Baron Davis, Stephen Jackson, Jason Richardson, Monta Ellis, Al Harrington, Kelenna Azubuike, Adonal Foyle, Patrick O’Bryant, Zarko Cabarkapaare and Matt Barnes — are expected to attend.
