Golden State Warriors End Regular Season on a High Note

The Golden State Warriors finished their regular season on a good note, to say the least. The Warriors played the Portland Trailblazers at the Rose Garden on Wednesday night, winning 99 to 88.

The win was needed in order for the Warriors to officially clinch the sixth seed in the playoffs. By winning this game, the Warriors will be playing the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs. Their first game is on the 20th of April in Denver.

Winning this game was not the only achievement that the Warriors conquered tonight. Although he ended up with a mere 15 points, Stephen Curry broke the most made three-pointer record. He currently leads the NBA with the most made three-pointers, at 272. On Wednesday night's game, he passed Ray Allen who held the record at 269.

Stephen Curry is making a name for himself. He is the first player in the leagues history to have 272 made three-pointers and 531 assists. We will be hearing his name called in the All-Star line up next year. (Yes, still bitter about that)

Wednesday night was a big day for the Warriors. We are now certain that they will be playing Denver in the first round of the playoffs. Stephen Curry has become the phenomenal player we all knew he would turn into. This is one of the many records that he will be breaking in his career in the NBA. It's safe to say that this season is definitely the Warriors golden season; and I think we are all ready for the sea of gold once the playoffs make it to the Oracle Arena.
