Game 3: Perfect from Now On (Warriors 115, Rockets 80)

Steve Kerr has a vision in his head of the perfect basketball game.  No turnovers, seamless ball movement, relentless defense, dominant rebounding, constant fast-breaking aggressiveness.  He’s shared this dream with his team, so they can chase perfection with him.  The Warriors’ first half in Game 3 wasn’t quite flawless, but it was close.  On the road, looking to deliver a crippling blow to the Rockets’ playoff chances, the Warriors internalized all of their coaching staff’s “harping” (as Kerr called it earlier in the day).  They valued each possession (one turnover in the half, an illegal screen), moved the ball effortlessly (15 assists on 23 field goals), owned the boards (30-22) and ripped apart the Rockets’ offense (29% from the field; 18% from three).
