GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS PROVE TO BE A WELL-ROUNDED TEAM

Yesterday, January 29, 2013 the Golden State Warriors made sure that the NBA world knew exactly how strong of a team they are. The Warriors played the Cleveland Cavaliers yesterday in Cleveland without Stephen Curry, Andrew Bogut, Carl Landry and Harrison Barnes.

A day before on January 28, the Warriors beat the Toronto Raptors 114 to 102 in Toronto. It was a victorious win that had many drawbacks. During this game Stephen Curry made everyone cringe as he fell to the floor once again, injuring his ankle. Andrew Bogut stepped out on the court for the first time since November 7. He reminded us exactly why we traded Monta Ellis for him, but by doctors orders Bogut isn't allowed to play two games in a row until after the All-Star break. As for Harrison Barnes and Carl Landry, their injuries were two that we all weren't expecting. Luckily for the Warriors they have a strong enough team and were able to win without a few of their star players.

The Warriors started and ended the game strong, beating the Cavaliers 108 to 95. Thompson led the Warriors to victory with 32 points and Lee helped with 13 rebounds. The Warriors proved that they are an all around good team and they don't depend solely on a few players.

The Warriors also added two more players to the All-Star weekend. Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes were chosen to play in the Rising Stars Challenge on February 15 in Houston for the 2013 All-Star weekend. The Warriors are transforming into a fans dream right before our eyes.
