GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS CLINCH A PLAYOFF BERTH FOR THE FIRST TIME IN SIX YEARS

The Golden State Warriors have clinched a playoff berth Tuesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves 105-89.

It has been six years since the Warriors have been in the playoffs and this will be their second appearance in nearly two decades. The Warriors will be headed to either Denver or Oklahoma City for the first-round of the playoffs.

As of now, the Warriors will be playing the Denver Nuggets, but there is always a possibility for that to change with a few games left in the regular season. The Warriors will not be favored in the match up with the Nuggets, due to the fact that the Nuggets dominated their season matchups 3-1. Although, with the Warriors, expect the unexpected.

This is what the Warriors have been playing for. Year after year, the Warriors promise a playoff run. They kept their promise this year. Tuesday’s game was a sellout crowd. Security guards were smiling and high-fiving, the entire arena went up in a roar chanting “PLAYOFFS” in the last minute of the game. It has been a long time coming for Warriors fans, but the time has finally come. The playoffs are back, and the Warriors will be playing. Dust off your “We Believe” signs Warriors fans; the playoffs are around the corner.
