After committing to Georgia Tech back in June of 2016 (and being the fourth commitment in the current class), the nation’s #1 kicker Joseph Bulovas has elected to renege on that commitment with less than 10 days to go until National Signing Day.
With the Jackets looking for a kicker to replace Harrison Butker, Bulovas seemed like a slam dunk to do so as the nation’s #1 kicker and an Army All-American. However, recently there was speculation that Bulovas may have visited Mississippi State, leading to some uneasiness among many Georgia Tech fans. Bulovas took an official visit to the Flats this past weekend, making the timing of his announcement particularly odd.
