Mike Maye committed to the Yellow Jackets early this afternoon. He is from Hoover, Alabama and was seemingly lightly recruited and was rated as a 3-star recruit by the 247 composite, although he has only been rated by one service. He chose Tech over interest from South Alabama, Western Kentucky, and Duke. He joins Harrison Jump as the second offensive lineman in this class. While neither Jump nor Maye was a highly touted recruit, Tech has had success in the past with under the radar lineman. This year’s starting line features two such players, Jahaziel Lee and Kenny Cooper.
