Football: QB/BB Coach Bryan Cook Accepts Offensive Coordinator Job at Georgia Southern

Less than two weeks into the postseason, Georgia Tech has been experiencing a significant amount of loss thus far, between four announced transfers and two recruit decommitments. The trend continued on Friday, as news broke that QB/BB Coach Bryan Cook would be leaving Georgia Tech for Statesboro.

Cook came to Georgia Tech from Cal Poly in 2013 to replace Brian Bohannon, who had left to become the head coach at a startup Kennesaw State program. In the time since, he was the mentor for Justin Thomas, the deadly 2014 B-Back tandem of Synjyn Days and Zach Laskey, and more recently Matthew Jordan, Marcus Marshall, and Dedrick Mills.
