LAFAYETTE, La. - Georgia State (28-19, 13-8) lost 19-4 in five innings Saturday in Game 1 versus No. 17 Louisiana and lost 7-1 in Game 2 of the doubleheader. The series finale is set for 2 p.m. ET on Sunday.
Georgia State allowed 13 runs in the first inning of Game 1 and fell into a hole that the Panther offense was unable to climb out of.
