ATLANTA -- Coming off an outstanding freshman season, Georgia State pitcher Hunter Gaddis has been invited to the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Trials.
Gaddis is a 6-5 right-hander from Canton, Ga. (Sequoyah High School) who was the Panthers' top pitcher as a rookie with a 4-4 record and a 3.76 ERA in 2017. Pitching in the weekend rotation for the majority of the season, he led the team with 67 strikeouts against 19 walks in 75 innings, and he held opposing hitters to a .227 batting average.
