MACON, GA. - Senior Jordan Wren had himself a day, hitting two home runs and adding a double with eight RBIs, leading the Eagles to a 15-7 win over No. 24 Mercer on Tuesday night. Logan Baldwin got in on the action, hitting his first collegiate home run as the Eagles powered past the Bears. Mercer and Georgia Southern will play again on Wednesday at 6 pm on Jack Stallings Field at J.I. Clements Stadium.
The win was Georgia Southern's third-consecutive win over a ranked opponent after defeating No. 28 Coastal Carolina twice last weekend.
