Women's Basketball Falls to Top-Ranked Little Rock

Box Score LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Georgia Southern women's basketball team (11-13, 7-6 SBC) fell to the top-seeded Little Rock Trojans (20-7, 14-1 SBC) inside of the Jack Stephens Center on Thursday evening. The Eagles and Trojans kept the game close up until the fourth quarter when Little Rock went on a 15-1 run within the last eight minutes to close out the game.

Senior guard Angel McGowan led the team with 21 points, four rebounds, and two steals. Alexis Sams collected six points, Sierra Butler scored four and her sister, Patrice Butler led the team down low with five rebounds.
