Men’s golf tied for third after two rounds at Furman Intercollegiate

STATESBORO, Ga. – Steven Fisk shot a 70, Jake Storey carded a 71 and the Georgia Southern men's golf team is tied for third after two rounds of the Furman Intercollegiate at Furman University Golf Course.

Georgia Southern (-7) is tied with Chattanooga, two strokes behind second-place USC Aiken (-9), which shot 8-under to move five spots up the leaderboard. Seventeenth-ranked Clemson (-20) was 12-under today to open a commanding lead, and Wofford (-6) is just behind the Eagles in fifth.

Brett Barron (-7), who matched the school record and set a tournament mark with a 63 yesterday, posted a 74 today and is tied for second, four strokes behind Andrew Novak of Wofford.
