The 2016 Georgia football season was a disappointment, but know one thought it could get this disappointing. Out of all the great players on the roster, not one was selected by the coaches to be on either the first or second All-SEC team.
Even in Georgia’s 6-7 season in 2010, Justin Houston earned All-SEC honors. But it is still understandable that no one made an All-SEC team.
Why Georgia football missed out
Georgia was not all that good at the line of scrimmage on offense or defense. The offensive line struggled to open up room for Nick Chubb or Sony Michel to run and Jacob Eason was not able to become comfortable in the pocket far too often.
