Former Georgia RB A.J. Turman transferring to Florida Atlantic

Running back A.J. Turman has decided that Florida Atlantic is the next stop in his college career. The former Georgia player confirmed the news to Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald.

Former UGA RB A.J. Turman confirms he is transferring to Florida Atlantic. Will join program Aug. 1 and sit out this season.

Turman made news during the spring when he revealed that he had had transfer restrictions placed on him by new coach Kirby Smart. He was blocked from going to Miami, Georgia Tech, Florida or any other SEC school.
