Ex-Georgia wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell is helping kids read during his offseason

Malcolm Mitchell became known for his love of reading at the end of his Georgia playing career. He has carried this thirst for knowledge to the NFL and wants to share it with Boston-area children this offseason.

According to a story by CBS Boston, Mitchell is using his offseason to visit schools and encourage kids to read and pay closer attention to writing skills. This comes after he helped the New England Patriots win their fifth Super Bowl title.

“I’m here to talk about something as important as winning the Super Bowl with the Patriots,” Mitchell told the crowd at the Butler School in Belmont, Ma.
