Georgia Football Recruiting: Bulldogs Move Up List For Four-Star ATH

When four-star athlete Jamyest Williams (Lawrenceville, GA) revealed his top 10 last month, the Georgia Bulldogs came in ninth.

However, after visiting Athens for Dawg Night and talking with the coaching staff, the Bulldogs shot up his list.

"I had a great camp at Dawg Night, and when I talked to Coach Jeremy Pruitt after, he said he really loved me at defensive back," Williams told Dawgs247. "That really piqued my interest because I love defensive back. They [now] stand about third or fourth. Clemson and Florida State are ahead, and maybe Auburn."

The 5-foot-9, 170-pounder went on to rave about Pruitt.

"I think Jeremy Pruitt is a great guy, and he coached one of my role models - Lamarcus Joyner," Williams said. "I saw him coach him, and how he prepared him for the NFL even though he is a smaller guy."

So, what will it take for UGA to land him?

"In order for them to be No. 1, I just have to get back up there and talk to them some more," Williams said. "I hope to be at the Georgia - Alabama game."
