Five-star safety DeAngelo Gibbs has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. Gibbs announced his decision during the Under Armour All-American game.
Gibbs is the No. 40 overall recruit and No. 3 safety in the nation according to the 247Sports composite rankings. The Georgia product is the No. 4 player in the state. ESPN has him as a five-star recruit.
McKinney was expected to commit Georgia. He also made official visits to Alabama, Auburn and South Carolina, but elected to stay in-state.
