Amarlo Herrera had to wait a while, but finally got the call he'd been waiting for when the Indianapolis Colts made him the 207th pick late in the 6th round of the NFL draft.
Herrera has been one of the most durable and reliable fixtures on the Bulldog defense over the last four seasons. He has appeared in all fifty-four games contested during that time, starting every game of the 2013 and 2014 seasons, and starting forty-three of them.
And Herrera didn't just show up. He excelled. He finished third in the SEC in tackles in both 2013 and 2014, including ten tackles for a loss in 2014.
