WORCESTER, Mass. - The Georgetown University football team (4-7, 2-4 Patriot League) dropped its season finale to Holy Cross (6-5, 3-3 Patriot League), 45-7, on Saturday afternoon at Fitton Field. The loss snaps the Hoyas' two-game winning streak against the Crusaders and was their first loss at Fitton Field since 2009.
Junior tight end Matt Buckman (Hasbrouck Heights, N.J./Saint Joseph Regional) had five catches for 36 yards and GU’s lone touchdown. Senior linebacker Matt Satchell (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) finished with seven tackles, giving him 100 for the season.
