Hoyas Rally but Fall to St. John’s, 86-80

WASHINGTON – Georgetown fought back from a seven-point deficit with less than two minutes left cut the St. John’s lead to one point, but fell short in a BIG EAST Conference men’s basketball game at Madison Square Garden, losing 86-80, on Saturday afternoon.

It was the third-straight loss for the Hoyas, who fall to 14-15 overall and 5-11 in the BIG EAST Conference, while SJU improves to 13-16 overall and 7-9 in league play.
