WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's basketball team (5-2) will travel to Newark, Del., on Sunday to take on the University of Delaware Blue Hens (5-2) at 2 p.m., at the Bob Carpenter Center. The contest marks GU's final game away from home as part of a seven-game road swing.
On Wednesday, the Hoyas used a 17-0 run in the third quarter to defeat the Towson University Tigers, 75-59, at SECU Arena. The win handed the Tigers their first loss of the season and was the second undefeated team Georgetown has beat this year.
